How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) Become a member of Deltau2019s World Class DOM PRM team as aDomestic Revenue Management Specialist. Deltau2019s RM professionals areresponsible for maximizing the revenue generated on each flight and customersegment by aligning passenger demand with willingness to pay to offer theoptimal mix of fare products. Core to Deltau2019s industry-leading revenue results,each Specialist uses a rigorous, innovative set of demand management andcompetitive pricing strategies. Every Revenue Management Specialist blends theart of demand management with the science of analytical expertise to create theright price for each customer on every flight. As part of the department onboarding process, you willparticipate in a training cohort with the expectation of successful completionof the training courses and knowledge DOM PRM Team Functions + Ifplaced in a Pricing role, you will monitor, initiate and communicateindustry pricing actions including changes to fare levels, fare rules,policies, and pricing strategy execution + Proactivelymanage Deltau2019s fare structure including prices and fare rules + Identifyand analyze market issues and trends, determining appropriate pricingactions, filing of actions, and post-audit assessment of actions + Ifplaced in an Inventory management role, you will be responsible for flightlevel revenue optimization by properly valuing our passengers andforecasting future demand levels + Monitorand update the flight level demand forecasts through the analysis ofhistorical and future booking trends, the pricing environment, industrycapacity trends, the competitive landscape, and other factors + Establishand maintain the flight level overbooking forecasts through the analysisof no-show behavior trends + Ownand manage high revenue impact markets with complex dynamics, competitivepressures, and strategic importance. + Usevarious and complex high-level dashboards, prescriptive to descriptiveanalysis, along with market specific data, to create an appropriatecustomer offer to best segment customers and maximize revenue + Diagnose,interpret, and communicate basic market performance of revenue stats: LF,Yield, RASM, local vs. flow, drivers and actions + Evaluateperformance and post-departure trends to identify and leverage futureopportunities while maximizing the revenue potential for each market + Performingfrequent ad-hoc analyses related to the assigned markets + Communicatemarket trends, updates, recommendations and overall performance results toRevenue Management leaders and key stakeholders within the Commercial team + MentorAnalysts and Senior Analysts, providing guidance on market strategy,tools, and best practices. + Providetechnical support to other revenue management groups and both internal andexternal distribution channels and reporting + Workcross-functionally with Inventory Management, Pricing, Network Planning,Alliances, Sales, Marketing, and other teams to ensure alignment on marketlevel strategies What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) + 5+years of relevant experience in Revenue Management, Pricing, Inventory, orrelated analytical roles. + Detail-oriented,analytical ability are required + Strongpresentation, public speaking and written communication skills arerequired + Demonstrateability to manage the frequent market dynamic changes quickly and functionin a high pace environment + Mustbe able to set priorities in a time sensitive environment based on revenueimpact and be able to manage several responsibilities at once + Mustbe intellectually curious, interested in problem solving where multiplevariables are impacting market performance + Mustbe able to work efficiently as part of a team and as an individualcontributor, embracing diverse people, thinking and styles + Goodworking knowledge of Microsoft Office software is required + Mustbe performing satisfactorily in current position + Consistentlyprioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data + Embracesdiverse people, thinking, and styles + Possessesa high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency + Isat least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the UnitedStates What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications) + Demonstrateability to manage the frequent market dynamic changes quickly and functionin a high pace environment Benefits and Perks to Help You Keep Climbing Our culture is rooted in a shared dedication to living our values u2013 Care, Integrity, Resilience, Servant Leadership, and Teamwork u2013 every day, in everything we do.
