We are seeking a Senior Director, Data and AI Strategy to lead large-scale data and AI transformations and serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders. This role is for a seasoned, client-facing leader who can connect business strategy to data and AI execution, bring clarity to complex challenges, and guide organizations through meaningful, outcome-driven change.The Senior Director will partner closely with executive stakeholders to define data and AI strategies, operating models, and delivery approaches that are practical, scalable, and aligned to long-term business goals. They will lead complex engagements that require strong judgment, executive presence, and the ability to influence across business and technology teams. A core focus of the role is establishing consistent delivery frameworks and best practices that enable high-quality outcomes and measurable value.This leader will also play a key role in growing Slalom's Data and AI capability by shaping market offerings, supporting business development efforts, and building deep relationships across clients, partners, and internal teams. This individual will be responsible for the following:Key ResponsibilitiesClient Strategy and Advisory Leadershipu2022 Partner with senior client leaders to define data and AI strategies that align to enterprise goals and enable measurable business outcomes.u2022 Serve as a trusted advisor in executive discussions, translating complex data and AI concepts into clear strategic recommendations.u2022 Guide clients through transformational change by shaping operating models, governance approaches, and roadmaps that support long-term adoption and value dustry Expertise and Market Insightu2022 Bring deep expertise in one or more industries such as telecommunications, retail, energy, financial services, or healthcare to inform strategy, solution design, and execution.u2022 Apply industry-specific knowledge of business models, regulatory considerations, data landscapes, and operating challenges to accelerate client impact.u2022 Develop and articulate industry-relevant points of view that connect data and AI capabilities to real-world business outcomes.u2022 Support industry-aligned pursuits and account strategies by bringing credibility, insight, and executive-level perspective.Delivery Excellence and Transformationu2022 Lead complex, high-impact data and AI engagements, providing direction and oversight to ensure delivery quality, consistency, and accountability.u2022 Establish and evolve delivery frameworks, methods, and leading practices that enable scalable, repeatable execution across data and AI initiatives.u2022 Balance innovation with practicality by guiding teams in designing solutions that are secure, sustainable, and aligned to client maturity and risk tolerance.Solution Enablement and Capability Growthu2022 Shape and advance Slalom's Data and AI capability by contributing to solution development, go-to-market offerings, and reusable assets.u2022 Support business development efforts through executive relationship building, pursuit leadership, and outcome-driven proposal development.u2022 Contribute to thought leadership and internal enablement, helping teams stay current on emerging trends, technologies, and strategic approaches in data and AI.People Leadership and Change Enablementu2022 Build, ead, and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.u2022 Coach leaders and teams through ambiguity and transformation, helping them navigate change with confidence and clarity.u2022 Invest in talent development and succession planning, supporting the long-term growth and sustainability of the Data and AI capability.Required Qualificationsu2022 15+ years of experience leading data, analytics, or AI initiatives, with demonstrated progression into senior, client-facing leadership roles.u2022 Proven experience defining and leading enterprise or multi-year data and AI transformations involving multiple business units and executive stakeholders.u2022 Deep expertise in at least one industry such as telecommunications, retail, energy, financial services, or healthcare, with a demonstrated ability to apply industry context to strategy, operating models, and execution.u2022 Strong understanding of modern data and AI ecosystems, including data platforms, analytics, machine learning, governance, and organizational operating models.u2022 Demonstrated accountability for business outcomes enabled by data and AI, such as revenue growth, cost optimization, risk reduction, or operational improvement.u2022 Proven ability to lead complex, multi-disciplinary teams and influence senior executives across business and technology organizations.u2022 Experience establishing delivery frameworks, governance models, and standards that enable consistent, high-quality execution at scale.u2022 Strong business development experience, including shaping and leading pursuits, expanding executive relationships, and contributing to sustained account growth.u2022 Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to clearly articulate strategy, tradeoffs, and outcomes to executive audiences.u2022 Demonstrated people leadership experience, including building leadership capability, mentoring senior talent, and developing high-performing teams through transformation.Preferred Qualificationsu2022 Advanced degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or Business Administration.u2022 Experience leading data and AI strategy within a consulting or professional services environment.u2022 Experience navigating responsible AI considerations, including governance, risk management, and ethical use in enterprise settings.u2022 Experience partnering with cloud providers and technology partners to deliver large-scale data and AI solutions.u2022 Recognized thought leadership through speaking, publishing, or industry engagement related to data, AI, or digital
