Description As a member of the Finance Department, the Trust & Treasury Analyst is responsible for performing a variety of trust and treasury functions. The Trust & Treasury Analyst is a key operational role and requires proven experience with trust management, banking systems and basic trust accounting, treasury, and financial principles, along with other administrative duties, as assigned. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: + Provides support in trust management tasks for Fox Rothschild and its affiliated offices. + Performs daily and monthly trust management activities including trust reconciliations, trust posting, trust applications, wire transfers, research, and reporting. + Maintain and update escrow, and retainer accounts, ensuring adherence to IOLTA and regulatory requirements. + Prepares trust check requests, processes wires and ACH payments. + Review outstanding checks (trust and operating) and take proactive steps to return funds to the rightful owner before escheatment deadlines, ensuring compliance with state regulations. + Support treasury functions: cash management, debt compliance, and investment reporting. + Assist with month-end and year-end close processes for trust and treasury. + Updates IOLTA and Escrow cash reports, monitoring various account balances and transactions, ensuring adherence to IOLTA and regulatory requirements. + Review current processes and controls to identify efficiency gaps. + Partner with leadership to implement automation tools and workflows. + Serve as a resource for technology-driven improvements in trust and treasury operations. + Demonstrates effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective work relationships with others. + Manages Firm resources responsibly. + Complies with and understands firm operations, policies, and procedures. + Completes ad hoc requests. QUALIFICATIONS (EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES): Education: + Bacheloru2019s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required. Experience: + 3u20135 years of experience in a Finance or Treasury function; experience within a law firm or professional services environment is preferred, though not required. + Familiarity with Elite Enterprise/3E is a plus. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: + Strong MS Office skills (primarily Excel and Word). + Detail oriented with strong mathematical, analytical and computer skills. + Ability to work with detailed information accurately and efficiently. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Professional and courteous communication with clients, attorneys, paralegals, and business professionals are a must. Strong customer service orientation. + Able to follow instructions accurately and proactively keep others informed of progress. + Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner. + Ability to interact with people in a manner that shows tact and professionalism. + Must be dependable, punctual and have strong attendance. + Must be flexible to work overtime as needed (i.e., after hours, weekends, holidays, etc.). WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS: + This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Sedentary work: Exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. Work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties. VISUAL ACUITY Worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
