The project management lead weu2019re seeking will be part of the firm's digital transformation and will help define the long-term digital product vision, value proposition, product strategy, and product roadmap. This role will help guide cross-functional teams through the entire product lifecycle, including stakeholder engagement across our architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) disciplines. This position is for individuals who have demonstrated excellence as a project manager, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget while aligning with business objectives, and enjoy framing a problem, shaping & creating solutions, and helping to champion implementation of technology solutions. As a member of the Digital Engineering Solutions team, this individual will also engage in research and development and the incubation of innovative ideas that arise from around the company. This role is highly business-facing, with a strong focus on coordinating stakeholders, organizing their input, and ensuring development teams clearly understand business needs and priorities. The following are the Key responsibilities for this position u2022 Accountable for project completion, working independently in a collaborative environment. u2022 Lead and manage initiatives that support and advance the teamu2019s mission and core values. u2022 Engage with diverse stakeholders from engineering and architecture backgrounds to align initiatives with the teamu2019s strategic objectives. u2022 Work on multiple assignments simultaneously. u2022 Develop project scope, goals, deliverables, and risks that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. u2022 Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs. u2022 Identify potential risks throughout the project lifecycle, implement mitigation strategies, and proactively address issues. u2022 Identify and handle project roadblocks, escalating issues when necessary, and find solutions to keep projects on track. u2022 Monitor project quality throughout the delivery process to ensure that established standards and criteria are met. u2022 Monitor the project budget, recognizing cost variations and taking necessary steps to keep within budgetary restrictions. u2022 Ensure clear communication with leadership, clients, stakeholders, and internal development team teams to keep all parties updated on the project's progress and to resolve problems that may arise. u2022 Manage cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. u2022 Collaborate with the product lead and delivery manager to ensure project objectives are met. u2022 Facilitate effective communication among project team members and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. u2022 Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, KPI reports, and presentations. u2022 Stay current with emerging technologies to meet industry demands. #LI-LP1 #LI-REMOTE Job Title: Lead Project Management, Digital Engineering Solutions Group: COR Employment Type: Regular Minimum Qualifications: u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree u2022 7 years of relevant experience. u2022 Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a college degree. Amount of Travel Required: 5% Assignment Category: Fulltime-Regular Visa Sponsorship Available: No - We will not support sponsorship, i.e. H-1B or TN Visas for this position Skills and Abilities: u2022 Expertise in Project Management: Strong knowledge of best practices, methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum), and experience managing product and project life cycles. u2022 Proven Leadership: Ability to take ownership, work independently, delegate tasks, motivate teams, and manage multiple initiatives concurrently. u2022 Strategic Planning & Execution: Skilled in developing project strategies, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans; adept at risk identification and contingency planning. u2022 Technical Proficiency: Experience in the AEC industry with familiarity in design/engineering applications, visualization, GIS, and data analytics; proficient in project management tools such as Microsoft Project. u2022 Analytical & KPI Management: Competent in tracking performance through estimate vs. actual KPI boards to ensure projects meet deadlines and budgets. u2022 Collaboration & Communication: Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills; capable of coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders, facilitating meetings, and ensuring clear, strategic communication. u2022 Adaptability & Continuous Learning: Willingness to adopt cutting-edge technologies and enhance skills to remain competitive. Pay Range Minimum: $122,595 Pay Range Maximum: $214,510 Additional Compensation: All bonuses at CDM Smith are discretionary and may or may not apply to this position.
