Sr. QSF Tax Manager or Manager

Description We are looking for a highly experienced Sr. Tax Manager to join our team in Southlake. In this role, you will oversee tax compliance processes and collaborate directly with external organizations to resolve tax-related issues. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and enjoy working with multi-entity structures, ensuring accuracy in financial reconciliations and tax filings. Responsibilities: u2022 Handle tax compliance and reporting processes, ensuring all filings adhere to applicable regulations. u2022 Collaborate directly with external organizations to address and resolve tax-related notices and issues(must be experienced with working with the IRS directly in resolving issues and must obtain CAF #) u2022 Conduct detailed research and analysis of multi-entity tax structures to provide accurate insights. u2022 Manage the preparation of annual income tax provisions and corporate tax returns. u2022 Utilize CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax software to streamline tax processes and improve accuracy. u2022 Oversee entity formation processes, ensuring proper documentation and compliance. u2022 Perform reconciliations and automate processes to enhance operational efficiency. u2022 Maintain strong client relationships by providing clear, detail-oriented communication and support. u2022 Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and minimize risks. u2022 Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improved tax strategies. Requirements u2022 Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, with a strong focus on tax compliance. u2022 Extensive experience working directly with the IRS to resolve tax issues. u2022 Proficiency in tax software such as CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax. u2022 Demonstrated ability to manage multi-entity structures and perform detailed financial analysis. u2022 Exceptional attention to detail and ability to automate and reconcile processes. u2022 Strong client-facing skills with excellent communication and professionalism. u2022 Thorough understanding of annual income tax provisions and corporate tax return preparation. u2022 Up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations relevant to the role.
