JOB SUMMARYPerform cycle counting activities within the warehouse involving the physical counting of material, recording actual count results, and communicating actual results to the appropriate person. May also cycle count other areas within the Operation, aid in root cause analysis, and suggest process improvements.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESu2022 Perform cycle count duties and record actual results within assigned area(s):u2022 Physically cycle count material.u2022 Record actual count results without manipulation.u2022 Communicate count results to necessary personnel.u2022 Utilize scanners when appropriate for performing ERP transactions.u2022 Other related duties, which could include:u2022 Aid in root cause analysis.u2022 Suggest process improvements.u2022 Cycle counting various areas throughout the Operation.u2022 Coordinate activities with the Warehouse Supervisor and other functional areas of Inventory Control within the Operation.u2022 Involved in the coordination and/or execution of a physical inventory.MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESu2022 Typically reports to Management. Inventory Control Manager or Department Supervisoru2022 Job is NOT directly responsible for managing other employees (e.g., hiring/termination and/or pay decisions, performance management).JOB QUALIFICATIONSKNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTSu2022 Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.u2022 Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.u2022 Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software.u2022 Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabilu2019s software packages.u2022 Ability to write simple correspondence.
