Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Scottsdale, Arizona. This is a contract to permanent position that offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to essential billing and accounts receivable processes. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing financial transactions and ensuring efficient cash flow operations. Responsibilities: u2022 Process and oversee accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. u2022 Handle commercial collections and follow up on outstanding payments with attention to detail. u2022 Apply cash payments to customer accounts while maintaining detailed and organized records. u2022 Generate and manage customer billing statements to ensure proper invoicing. u2022 Monitor and reconcile accounts to maintain up-to-date financial information. u2022 Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies related to payments or invoices. u2022 Utilize QuickBooks to manage and track financial data efficiently. u2022 Prepare reports on accounts receivable status for management review. u2022 Support the team with ad hoc tasks related to billing and collections. u2022 Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in accounts receivable processes, including billing and collections. u2022 Strong knowledge of commercial collections and cash application procedures. u2022 Proficiency in QuickBooks and other financial tools. u2022 Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. u2022 Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams. u2022 Ability to analyze financial data and create relevant reports. u2022 Knowledge of compliance standards for financial transactions. u2022 Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
