Job Summary Under close supervision actively participates in required training classes and assists employees of the same classification or other classifications within the substation department. Under direct supervision, when qualified to work safely as work experience is acquired, assists with and engages in the inspection, testing, checking, calibrating to close tolerances, making of delicate adjustments, repairing, installing and removing of instruments, relays, and control equipment. Under general direct supervision, performs similar duties of progressively increasing importance and carries through assignments independently or with the assistance of other employees, all of whom may be the same classification.
