We are looking for a Software Engineer III - Eng to join our dynamic team. This role provides an opportunity to lead projects and contribute to high-impact software solutions that are used by enterprises and users worldwide. As a Software Engineer III, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of complex software systems, as well as mentoring junior engineers. You will work in a collaborative environment, contributing to the technical foundation behind our flagship products and services. Responsibilities: u2022 Software Development: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code or various software applications and systems. u2022 Technical Leadership: Contribute to the design, development, and deployment of complex software applications and systems, ensuring they meet high standards of quality and performance. u2022 Project Management: Manage execution and delivery of features and projects, negotiating project priorities and deadlines, ensuring successful and timely completion, with quality. u2022 Architectural Design: Participate in design reviews with peers and stakeholders and in the architectural design of new features and systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability. u2022 Code Review: Diligent about reviewing code developed by other developers, provide feedback and maintain a high bar of technical excellence to ensure code is adhering to industry standard best practices like coding guidelines, elegant, efficient and maintainable code, with observability built from ground up, unit tests etc. u2022 Testing: Build testable software, define tests, participate in the testing process, automate tests using, tools (e.g., Junit, Selenium) and Design Patterns leveraging the test automation pyramid as the guide. u2022 Service Health and Quality: Maintain the health and quality of services and incidents, proactively identifying and resolving issues. Utilize service health indicators and telemetry for action providing recommendations to optimize performance. Conduct thorough root cause analysis and drive the implementation of measures to prevent future recurrences. u2022 Dev Ops Model: Understanding of working in a DevOps Model. Taking ownership from working with product management on requirements to design, develop, test, deploy and maintain the software in production. u2022 Documentation: Properly document new features, enhancements or fixes to the product, contributing to training materials. Minimum Qualifications: u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. u2022 4+ years of professional software development experience. u2022 Deep expertise in one or more programming languages such as C#, .NET, Python, Java, or JavaScript. u2022 Extensive experience with software development practices and design patterns. u2022 Proficiency with version control systems like GitHub and bug/work tracking systems like JIRA. u2022 Understanding of cloud technologies and DevOps principles. Preferred Qualifications: u2022 Experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP. u2022 Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools. u2022 Experience with test automation frameworks and tools. u2022 Knowledge of agile development methodologies. u2022 Familiarity with developing accessible technologies. u2022 Dedicated to diversity and inclusion initiatives. u2022 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. u2022 Understanding of the usage of AI tools like claude. The pay range for this position is $102,300.00 to $147,050.00, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
