Professional (+) (Fixed Term)u00a0Position Details:u00a0The Opportunity:u00a0As the Cougs Rise Coordinator - Spokane, you will be an integral member of the team, working alongside the Director to develop and implement academic year and summer programming, supervising student mentors, and functioning as a liaison with external constituents. You will provide senior-level academic advising, guidance, and other services to students, utilizing specific knowledge of college transition, persistence, and completion; independently provide one-on-one counseling focused on academic skills, tutoring, guidance, and mentoring; and independently provide group services and deliver program curriculum in a variety of formats (classroom, field, virtual, etc.). You will also research and identify new opportunities for student recruitment and develop targeted outreach plans.u00a0Additional Information:u00a0This is a full-time (100% FTE), temporary position. This position is overtime eligible.u00a0Temporary End Date: This is a temporary position expected to end on 8/31/26. Renewal is dependent on the need for extension and/or if additional funding is secured to extend employment.u00a0Monthly Salary: $4,061.90 - $5,077 Commensurate with experience and qualificationsu00a0In accordance with the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. For additional information, please review the and Qualifications:u00a0u2022 Positions require a Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of professional work experience in student services or related education/experience. Experience leading or directing the work of others. A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one (1) year of professional work experience. Any combination of relevant education and professional experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.u00a0u2022 Demonstrated experience working successfully with students, faculty, staff, administrators, and the public.u00a0u2022 Demonstrated experience in student service programming.u00a0u2022 Broad knowledge of and work experience with student transition issues and retention related to the target population.u00a0u2022 Demonstrated computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office.u00a0u2022 Ability, and willingness, to work some weekends
