Position Summary:Under general supervision, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for administration, coordination, and logistics of the recruitment process. Supports the Talent Acquisition team by ensuring a seamless workflow and contributing to a positive candidate experience through superior service.An in-person interview may be required during the hiring processState specific pay scales for this role are as follows:$44,466 to $77,881 (CA, NJ, NY, WA, HI, AK, MD, CT, RI, MA)$40,424 to $70,801 (NV, OR, AZ, CO, WY, TX, ND, MN, MO, IL, WI, FL, GA, MI, OH, VA, PA, DE, VT, NH, ME)$36,381 to $63,721 (UT, ID, MT, NM, SD, NE, KS, OK, IA, AR, LA, MS, AL, TN, KY, IN, SC, NC, WV)The expected base salary for this position will vary depending on a number of factors, including relevant experience, skills and location.Essential Job Functions:Supports TA Specialists with coordination and scheduling of phone screens, skills assessments and interviews with hiring managers and Human Capital team membersCoordinates and monitors pre-employment screening to include ordering background checks and substance testing, verifying employment, checking references and other items as required.Manages the hiring and onboarding process by providing new hire packages to candidates, initiating onboarding ensuring new hire paperwork is signed and returned, and ensuring employee IDs are generatedCoordinate and conduct I9 verifications and document validation, ensuring I9s are completed and submitted in accordance with DHS requirements.Manages tracking and reconciliation of vendor invoicingResponsible for organization and upkeep of Talent Acquisition team shared folders and documents in SharePoint and TeamsPoint of contact for driving branding initiatives on Glassdoor, LinkedIn and internal job postings in partnership with cross functional partners and vendors. Creates content calendar in collaboration with Talent Acquisition team and Internal Communication team and ensures all social media pages are updated as prescribed by annual calendar.Drives diversity attract pillar initiatives as assigned and ensure diversity initiatives are highlighted on our social media pagesAssist TA Specialists on immigration matters to include reviewing applicants and documenting applicant data, pre-screening applicants and working with immigration attorneys to ensure immigration needs are addressed and properly filedManage candidates within Applicant Tracking System in a timely efficient mannerMay occasionally assist TA Specialists with resume reviews, applicant screening and sourcing for entry-level and support type positionsEducation:Minimum:Completion of a High School DiplomaPreferred:Completion of a Bachelor’s degree (BA, BS) in Human Resources or related field preferredExperience:Minimum:1-2 years experience in Human Resources or related support experience; or equivalent Human Resources training, experience, and educationSkills & Abilities:Minimum:Excellent written and oral communication skillsBasic knowledge of Employment LawExcellent customer service and follow-up skillsAbility to professionally interact with internal and external customersAbility to multi-task and manage competing prioritiesConsistently demonstrates commitment to meeting deadlines, completing tasks thoroughly, maintaining a high standard of performance, and ensuring punctuality in all responsibilities and interactionsProficient in Microsoft Office 365 to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and TeamsPrior experience with using Applicant tracking system/similar platforms i.e. iCIMSPreferred:Prior experience with calendar scheduling tools and calendar managementWhy choose a career at Mercury?At Mercury, we have been guided by our purpose to help people reduce risk and overcome unexpected events for more than 60 years.
