This individual will be responsible for executing Suffolk’s payments processes, supporting community impact and volunteer programs and providing ad-hoc program support, as needed, to the Corporate Initiatives team.Assistwithvolunteer program execution, including, but not limited to,interaction withnonprofit partners,monitoring of volunteer inbox,supportingevent planningandlogisticsSupportexternalcharitableeventsandsponsorship registration processesExecutepayment processes throughout the year forcommunityprograms(Suffolk Cares,volunteerandother external sponsorships),ensuringpayments and donationsare completed ina timelyfashionand helping to trackspendagainst budgetAssistteam with production of annual impact reportSupport and communicatewith cross-functional teamsas instructed byCorporate InitiativesDepartmentPerformadditionaladministrative functions, includingbut not limitedtoscheduling, meetingcoordination,note-takingand file management,and provide administrative support totheteamas needs arise1-3 years of community, corporate philanthropy or related experienceStrong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple workstreams simultaneouslySelf-motivated and independent, with the ability to work collaboratively with othersHigh attention to detail and strong follow-throughStrong interpersonal skillsFlexibility and adaptability in response to evolving processes, programs, and prioritiesProficient in basic administrative functions and skilled in the use of office equipment and computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookCandidate must possess Suffolk’s Core Values: Passion, Integrity, Hard Work, Professionalism and CaringWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. This represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Suffolk’s total compensation package. Actual salaries may be based on several factors including, but not limited to, skill set, experience, education and other qualifications.
