Job Title: RF / EEE Component EngineerJob Location: Torrance, CASalary: $105,000-$150,000/yr DOE and LevelStellant is excited to offer aRF / EEE Component Engineerposition at our Torrance facility. Stellant is an industry leader in high-performance RF technology, supporting both terrestrial and spaceborne communications, electronic warfare, and radar missions. This role will be primarily tasked with providing RF / EEE component guidance to suppliers & design team, developing new products, and aiding current active & passive RF production for space applications. Role will work with a multidisciplinary group of individuals including design / test / project engineering, as well as program management / operations / supply chain to meet the needs of development and production programs. This role will also be integral to technical investigations and will support new business activities on a regular basis. Stellant offers numerous avenues for job fulfillment in our dynamic development & production environment, and career progression for stand out performers.Component lifecycle management including component onboarding (e.g. footprint / part number creation), library management, and obsolescence review.Evaluate designs for component reliability, industry standards compliance, and mission usageSupport component failure analyses and risk assessments.Interface with suppliers, supply chain, design engineers, production/manufacturing, and mission assurance/quality.Supporting customer meetings, milestones (CDR, PDR, MRR …) and guiding the team through those events.Actively seek out innovative technologies and support new product development to ensure continued industry leadership.Support new business activity through proposal review and improvements on current designs.Engineering Degree in a related field, EE of RF communications preferred, with post graduate work a plus.Experience in component screening, testing, and qualifications requiredExperience in electrical or RF design a plus, with strong emphasis on space industry experience.Proficient with circuit design tools a plusMust possess exceptional communication skills both written and verbalProficiency using Microsoft Office applications is necessaryAdditional Requirements based on level role:Level III:requires a minimum of 4 years of relevant experienceLevel IV:requires a minimum of 6 years of relevant experienceStellant Systems is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
