This is your opportunity to lead major initiatives, influence best practices, and drive transformative solutions for communities.Lead all phases of multifaceted water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects—from concept through completion—by developing advanced engineering designs, technical reports, and contract documentation, while guiding cross-functional teams and mentoring junior engineering staffProvide expert consultation and resolve highly complex technical issues across multiple teams and projectsPlan, schedule, and coordinate detailed project phases with engineering and project management teamsMentor and provide technical review for junior engineering staffConduct engineering studies, investigations, and prepare reports for company leadership, clients, and regulatory agenciesPrepare technical proposals and external presentations for clients, the general public, and regulatory agencies, showcasing CHA’s commitment to sustainable water solutionsBachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required; Master’s degree preferredMinimum of 15 years of progressive engineering experience required; water, wastewater, stormwater experience preferredProfessional Engineer (PE) license requiredExpert knowledge of engineering fundamentals and specialty areasAdvanced proficiency in engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.) as well as Microsoft OfficeProven leadership skills and ability to lead teams in a collaborative environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsParticipation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferredDeep understanding of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering lawsLead transformative water, wastewater, and stormwater projects that shape the future of infrastructure and environmental stewardshipMentor and inspire talented teams dedicated to delivering clean water and safe wastewater solutionsCollaborate with industry experts and company leadership in a flexible work environmentCurious about the impactful work our Water team is doing?
