Aspire has health centers in five Central Indiana counties serving Hoosiers of all ages and walks of life.Position SummaryTheHome Based Therapistwill provide behavioral health and/or child welfare related services to multiple populations including seriously mentally ill adults and youth and their families in the community and/or home settings in order to achieve their identified goals. The Home Based Therapist will also provide structured, goal-oriented, time-limited therapy in the natural environment. Issues addressed may include trauma, abuse and neglect, substance use, mental illness, personality/behavior disorder, dysfunctional family of origin, and current family dysfunction.Education/Experience/RequirementsMaster's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or related fieldfrom a college/university accredited by the US Department of Education requiredPrior experience with this population preferredMust be knowledgeable of child welfare and/or juvenile probation systemsMust be license eligible (LSW, LMHCA, LMFTA) by the State of Indiana and actively pursuing licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) by the State of IndianaMust be capable of exercising good judgment in crisis situationsMust maintain a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance and a driving record that meets the guidelines and requirements of the organizationMust have the ability to use private car to transport self and othersLearn more about us at Aspireindiana.org, and see our Core Values, benefits and current job listings on our Careers page.
