The Cycle Counter is responsible for accurately counting and recording inventory levels within our warehouse. This role requires strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. What Will You Do?Conducts regular cycle counts of inventory items according to established schedules/direction from leadership.Utilizes handheld scanners or other inventory management tools to accurately record inventory levels.Investigates and resolves discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.Assistsin the reconciliation of inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or quality issues to management.Maintains cleanliness and organization within the warehouse tofacilitateefficient counting processes.Collaborate with other team members within inventory control/warehouse teams to ensureaccurateinventory management practices.Adheres to all safety protocols and procedures at all times.Provides support during physical inventory audits and other inventory-related activities as needed.Continuously seeks opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency in counting processes.Performs other duties asrequired.Education: High School Diploma or equivalent isrequired.Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:Proven experience in a similar role, preferably a warehouse or distribution environment strongly preferred.Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.Proficiencyin using handheld scannerspreferred.Basic computer skillsrequired.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work cohesively in a team environment.Willingness to work flexible hours; overtime occasionallyrequired.Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, anda strongwork ethic.Must be a self-starter.Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:Ability to lift and carry up to40lbs. occasionally and up to 25 lbs. often.Stockroom setting with material handling equipment in use and limited exposure to environmental conditions.Regularly standing, walking, climbingladders for prolonged periods of time.Work with personal safety equipment such as safety harness, foot protection, safety glasses, and hearing protection when necessary.About LegrandLegrand is the global specialist in electrical and digital building infrastructures.
