CT scans include but are not limited to: Trauma/ER, Perfusions, Routine Body, Routine Neuro, Cardiac and Interventional Procedures, Utilizes good radiation safety practices for patients, self and others. Uses ALARA on every exam when selecting parameters for exam based on patient age and habitatus.Displays competency performing procedures; follows National Patient Safety Goals for two patient identifier,hand hygiene and universal precautions. Always produces high quality diagnostic exams. Accurately enters,selects and/or merges the correct patient identification information on the scanner and in PAC system.Accurately and proficiently performs work-ups, such as perfusions & reconstructions, on the 3-D workstationAccurately and thoroughly completes hospital/department specific forms per protocol. Completes exams inRadnet.Completes incident reports/extravasations forms. Completes patient contrast information forms. Scans indocumentation as required into PACSRequiredRadiologic Technologist ProgramMedical Radiographer: AZ (MRAD:AZ)CT Radiology Tech: AZ (CTRAD:AZ)Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR)Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT (RTR) orRegistered Technologist Computed Tomography (RTCT)PreferredThree years of CT experience
