We offer a hybrid work schedule.Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Individual ResponsibilitiesPartnering with our business units to evaluate and select technology solutions that will augment or enhance the current technology footprint.Establish and maintain the deployment and guardianship/support of the applications environment that will ensure the integrity, security and privacy of the information within the enterprise.Administer support and monitoring of enterprise applications and systems.Provide technical support and resolutions to teams within the organization, and to external partners when required.Interacts with vendors and support teams.Conduct incident investigations and escalations and troubleshooting issues with systems and software.Provide software and systems communications support Perform directory services administration (user access rights, etc.)Maintain detailed software and system documentation.Develop and abide by Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions when necessaryDevelopment of technical documentation and provide training to end users.Primary skills and knowledge required include, but are not limited to the following:Understanding of SOX complianceKnowledge of applications such as ERP, HRIS, SharePoint, Smartsheet, Expense Management systems, etc.Exceptional customer support skills Strong workload management skillsAbility to plan and schedule projects and work under deadlines - must multi-task effectivelyIn-depth, hands-on knowledge of and experience with enterprise and desktop applications.Proven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniques.Knowledge of trends in technology relating to software applications.Demonstrable ability to think strategically and creatively while applying sound business judgment and quantitative analytics.Ability to communicate complex issues and influence others internally and externally.Good understanding of the organization’s goals and objectivesProactive and forward thinking to anticipating future challengesTeam player, but can work independentlyKeen eye for quality and accuracyLevel of Education Required: Bachelor’s degreePreferred field of study: IT or equivalentNumber of Years of Experience in the Function and in the Industry: Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in biotech/pharmaceutical industries within IT and 3-5 years’ experience supporting enterprise applications.Envision Your FutureWith the exciting energy of a winning culture and an exhilarating pace, we are an ophthalmology companycommitted topreventing blindnessby developing and commercializing innovative therapeutics.The collective power of our values influences everything we do, and everything we do for you.Transformational InnovationWe exist to change our patients’ lives through the power of sight.
