You will manage front desk responsibilities while ensuring a smooth and positive experience for everyone who enters the clinic. Your role blends administrative support with exceptional customer service to support the overall efficiency and reputation of our healthcare team.Key Responsibilities:Greet patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism, creating a welcoming environmentCheck patients in and out, verify personal and insurance information, and update records as neededSchedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using the clinic's electronic health record (EHR) systemAnswer incoming phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate departmentsCollect and process payments, issue receipts, and assist with billing questionsMaintain confidentiality of all patient records and comply with HIPAA regulationsMonitor the waiting area to ensure cleanliness, comfort, and an organized flow of trafficCoordinate with clinical staff to manage patient flow and minimize wait timesPerform general administrative duties such as data entry, filing, faxing, and scanning documentsAssist in onboarding new patients and educating them on clinic policies and proceduresHigh School Diploma or GED required1+ year of customer service or front desk experience preferred (healthcare setting is a plus)Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentBasic proficiency in computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office and scheduling platformsProfessional appearance and demeanor
