Job Description

The Slot Tech I is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining slot machines in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.Ensure that each guest receives outstanding service by creating a friendly environment and following Jackson Rancheria Guest Service Guidelines.Prepare games for operation, including optioning, software and parts compatibility checks, installation, preventative maintenance, and functional testing.Troubleshoot and repair game malfunctions to the modular level using diagnostic tools and approved replacement parts.Assist Slot personnel when called for machine malfunction, to verify jackpots when required per regulations and assist in resolving guest disputes related to gaming machines.Assist with installation of gaming hardware and software.Maintain equipment and personal tools required for the position.Maintain working knowledge of multiple vendors’ product lines.Remain current on all compliance requirements.Stay informed of procedure and policy changes.Communicate parts usage and inventory needs to appropriate personnel.Submit Action Requests for known product deficiencies and keep management informed of recurring issues, trends, and concerns.Respond to radio and phone service calls while providing excellent guest service.Read, understand, and follow manuals and documentation related to game and equipment installation, configuration, and settings.Perform fill and drop functions for Ticket Redemption and Jackpot machines.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE One to two years related experience with network technologies such as ethernet; pc hardware and software troubleshooting; working with AC/DC electrical components and/or training preferred.Pay range: $23.00 - $29.90 per hour*Shift Differential:Non-Exempt employees will receive a $1.00 per hour shift differential for any hours worked between 10:00pm and 6:00am.This is not a smoke free workplace. Although we employ state-of-the-art air filtration systems, cigarette smoke is in the work environment.
