This position is based in the greater Houston, TX area. This is a remote position based from a home office with daily travel to customer sites and occasional overnight stays; company vehicle provided Eatonu2019s Critical Power Solutions Division delivers the confidence of uninterrupted power when it matters most. As a Field Service Electronics Technician you will provide on-site support, offering emergency repairs, start-up services, and preventative maintenance to ensure peak performance and reliability. This role could be the next step in your career if you demonstrate the following experience: u2022 High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution. u2022 Three (3) years of Power Systems, battery technologies and/or electronics experience; including relevant coursework and internship experience. u2022 Posses and maintain a valid and unrestricted State Driver's license. u2022 Must undergo and pass customer entrance requirements as needed, which may include, but is not limited to, periodic background checks and drug screenings. u2022 Daily travel to customer sites is required, utilizing an Eaton-provided fleet vehicle. u2022 Provide support for customer needs outside the immediate region within the USA for a minimum of three (3) weeks per quarter. u2022 Must perform physical tasks as needed, including assisted lifting/carrying 50+ lbs., pushing/pulling, standing for extended periods, climbing, squatting, bending, kneeling, and driving long distances.
