Manufacturing Engineer

Eatonu2019s GEIS division is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer. Relocation is currently being offered for this role The expected annual salary range for this role is $71000 - $105000 a year. What youu2019ll do: This position is responsible for developing, planning, and executing Sherman plant manufacturing engineering activities including active participation and leadership of continuous improvement programs. As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer you will lead the management of capital and non-capital projects related to improving plant safety, quality, and productivity; provide manufacturing engineering technical direction, and support training of plant personnel regarding equipment and process. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: u2022 Support initiatives to improve EHS culture and reduce plant safety risk; Manage at least one MESH element. u2022 Support continuous improvement including participation and ownership in the Sherman Annual Productivity Improvement process. u2022 Resolve quality defects on the floor including direct support of the 8D process through closure within 15 days. u2022 Assist with development of capital projects u2022 Assist with the implementation of actions to support VAVE and NPI projects. u2022 Support manufacturing activities and tasks for fabrication, paint, weld, and assembly processes and technologies including laser cutting, punching, stamping, bending and robotics. u2022 Provide ongoing support and evolution of Total Productive Maintenance plans. u2022 Create Standard Work documentation for plant processes which support clear expectations through defined methods and equipment. Ensures the efficient integration of new processes and systems into the manufacturing operation. Counsel to other functions in the organization relative to production feasibility and process development. Qualifications: Required Qualifications: u2022 Bachelors degree in Engineering from an accredited institution u2022 Minimum 2 years of direct relative manufacturing engineering experience. u2022 Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
