Litigation Legal Assistant

Description Our client is looking for a Litigation Legal Assistant to join their team in Newport Beach, California. This is a Contract to permanent position where you will play a vital role in supporting legal operations and ensuring efficient case management. The ideal candidate will have expertise in civil litigation processes and be highly skilled in handling court filings and calendaring tasks. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage case files and ensure documents are organized, updated, and easily accessible. u2022 Perform e-filing in district, state, and federal courts with precision and adherence to deadlines. u2022 Prepare litigation documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials. u2022 Handle calendar management by scheduling court dates, deadlines, and appointments. u2022 Coordinate with attorneys and clients to ensure all case-related needs are met efficiently. u2022 File legal documents with courts and maintain compliance with filing requirements. u2022 Assist with administrative tasks, including correspondence and document preparation. u2022 Conduct research and gather information to support litigation cases. Requirements u2022 Proficiency in e-filing systems for district, state, and federal courts. u2022 Strong knowledge of civil litigation processes and legal terminology. u2022 Experience in managing calendars and tracking legal deadlines. u2022 Familiarity with court filing requirements and procedures. u2022 Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with attorneys and clients.
