Description: Payload Launch Site Support Services (PLSSS) provides all launch processing support functions for the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) Office of Space Launch (OSL) at Vandenberg, SFB and Cape Canaveral, SFS. PLSSS provides capabilities for satellite transportation, propellant loading operations, and radio frequency detection, plus operation and sustainment of satellite processing and other support facilities. Travel between sites to work with employees and customers is required. This position will provide lead responsibilities for the implementation of the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) program (RCM 2 methodology) for capabilities at both Vandenberg, CA and Cape Canaveral, FL . Your Key Duties in this position: u2022 Facilitate RCM analysis across all capabilities and provides technical oversight to ensure RCM principles and results are incorporated into projects and maintenance activities. u2022 Compile and analyze failure trending data. u2022 Produce measures related to maintenance effectiveness and investigate/analyze relevant variables u2022 Ensure preventative maintenance and corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards. u2022 Implement RCM tools and techniques, as well as predictive technology, to foster data-driven and optimized decisions in maintenance performance and recapitalization planning. u2022 Serve as a Enterprise-wide subject matter expert in the implementation of RCM on the PLSSS program; This will also include the training and leading of other facilitators of RCM and users of predictive technology. u2022 Support the wider Project Engineering and Systems Engineering on other efforts as required. Basic Qualifications: u2022 Knowledge of the principles and practice of Reliability Centered Maintenance u2022 Knowledge of implementation of predictive technology in a maintenance strategy u2022 Proficient with Data Gathering and Transformation/Analysis using Excel u2022 Excellent relationship management skills to include verbal and written communications with technical and non-technical audiences u2022 Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education u2022 US citizenship and the ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance w/ poly Desired Skills: u2022 Experience leading Reliability Centered Maintenance analyses, particularly using RCM 2 methodology u2022 Formal training and/or certification in RCM facilitation u2022 Experience performing predictive technology, such as vibration and infrared thermography, in the field and the subsequent analysis u2022 Experience with Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) or other root cause analysis techniques u2022 Experience with Failure Trending u2022 Experience with Risk and Opportunity Management u2022 Proficiency with the Computer Maintenance Management System Maximo u2022 Active Top Secret security clearance Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
