Production Worker (Weekend)

Job Title: Production Worker (Weekend) Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Production Worker to join our team, specializing in weekend shifts. Candidates will undergo training on weekdays for at least one month before transitioning to weekend nights. This role involves working with MicroChannel extrusions, fins, and headers to assemble coils. Responsibilities + Set up and assign daily work schedules and expectations for the shift. + Maintain a clean, well-organized, and safe plant environment. + Ensure all employees are properly trained in safety, quality, job skills, and company policies. + Maintain and inspect equipment according to company procedures, ensuring safe operation. + Assemble coils by stacking tubes and fins to match production order requirements. + Measure and monitor fin quality and dimensional specifications. + Perform pressure testing on coils to ensure they are leak-free. + Record test results and note any leaks. + Prepare coils for the brazing furnace, ensuring fins are secure and fittings are installed as needed. + Follow safety rules at all times. Essential Skills + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. + At least 2 years of general labor experience. + Verified good attendance record. + 2+ years of sit-down forklift experience (certification provided). + High school diploma or GED verified. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in shipping, packaging, assembly, production, and machine operation. Why Work Here? The facility is hot in summer and cool in winter. Dress code includes jeans and a t-shirt. The weekend schedule includes 12-hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Breaks are scheduled throughout the shift to ensure adequate rest. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of YORK, PA.
