Network Engineer

Description We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Network Engineer to join our IT team in Auburn, Washington. This role involves managing and optimizing network infrastructure to ensure reliable performance, robust security, and seamless connectivity across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience and a proactive attitude to enhance the efficiency of our systems. Responsibilities: u2022 Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's network infrastructure. u2022 Configure and manage Cisco routers, firewalls, and switches to ensure secure and efficient operations. u2022 Monitor network performance and resolve issues to minimize downtime and optimize functionality. u2022 Implement and manage security protocols using tools such as Palo Alto Firewalls and Cisco ASA. u2022 Administer and troubleshoot Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) configurations to ensure seamless network routing. u2022 Collaborate with team members to assess and integrate new technologies into the network. u2022 Create and maintain detailed documentation of network configurations and changes. u2022 Conduct regular audits of network systems to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective measures. u2022 Provide technical support and guidance to resolve complex networking issues. u2022 Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to improve network solutions.
