Warehouse Associate- Shift 3

Job Summary The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. This role plays a critical part in ensuring inventory accuracy, order fulfillment efficiency, and a safe, organized warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities + Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality + Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards + Load and unload trucks and containers safely and efficiently + Organize, stock, and maintain inventory in designated warehouse locations + Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (if certified) + Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counts as required + Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment + Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards + Report damaged goods, inventory discrepancies, or safety concerns to supervisors + Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned Qualifications + High school diploma or equivalent preferred + Previous warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience a plus + Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately + Basic math and organizational skills + Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred Physical Requirements + Ability to lift, push, or pull up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs] + Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods + Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment Skills & Competencies + Attention to detail and accuracy + Strong time-management skills + Team-oriented mindset + Dependability and strong work ethic + Basic computer or inventory system knowledge (preferred) Work Environment + Warehouse setting with varying temperatures + Schedule may include evenings, weekends, or overtime as needed Compensation & Benefits (if applicable) + Competitive hourly wage + Health, dental, and vision insurance + Paid time off and holidays + Opportunities for training and advancement Shift 3 - Friday, Saturday, and Sunday5:30 am - 6:00 pm Full time 500 Volvo Parkway,Chesapeake,Virginia 23320 DC1 Dollar Tree
