Eatonu2019s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Program Manager I. The position will be based at our facility in Smyrna, GA. We are offering relocation assistance for candidates that reside within the U.S. The expected annual salary range for this role is $97000 - $143000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What youu2019ll do: This position is responsible for management of the Satellite Plant Expansion. The Program Manager manages the project planning, execution, requirements changes, risk mitigation, and issue tracking to achieve organizational objectives. This position requires up to 25% travel. Job Responsibilities: u2022 Accountable for program scope and successful execution within technical, schedule, cost and quality commitments. u2022 Lead construction and installation management. Including but not limited to machinery install and startup, in addition to process layout design and implementation. u2022 Ensure standard program management tools and processes are utilized, including the use of Eatonu2019s PROLaunch process and agile methodologies as applicable. u2022 Lead global project teams. Identify required activities across functions and locations and hold team members accountable for successful execution. Maintain a structured resource allocation plan. u2022 Employ effective requirements and change management techniques. Assess and promptly communicate potential impacts of any changes and recommendations to stakeholders. u2022 Lead teams in program risk assessment and deployment of sound mitigation strategies. Monitor risk and take decisive and early action to resolve any issues. u2022 Maintain a robust Communications Plan, inclusive of regular presentations to senior leaders relevant to status of programs. Prepare and publish formal program metrics and reports on a (minimum) monthly basis. u2022 Participate in annual planning processes such as road mapping, waterlining, and profit planning. Understand CPA strategic plans and help determine project priorities within the portfolio. u2022 Understand Eaton program management, financial, and productivity tracking systems and processes. Work with product line leaders to accurately forecast, monitor, and report on program financials. Manage product line portfoliio within profit plan budget. u2022 Serve as a PROLaunch champion, mentor other PMs in the PMO community, help with implementation of improvement action plans and standardization of PM best practices. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: u2022 Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution u2022 Minimum of 3 yearsu2019 experience leading programs or projects for engineering or manufacturing teams u2022 Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc. Preferred Qualifications: u2022 Master's Degree from an accredited institution in a Business or Engineering Discipline u2022 Minimum of 6 years experience in program management and leadership of project teams Technical knowledge u2022 PMP Certification preferred u2022 Experience managing new product development projects u2022 Knowledge of Program and Project Management methodologies, processes and tools. Skills: Position Criteria: u2022 Proficient communication and presentation skills u2013 both verbal and written with ability to make necessary status reports and technical presentations to Eaton management and customer. u2022 Strong analytical skills and business acumen u2022 Must be able to achieve goals by working collaboratively and cross-functionally u2022 Must be capable of working effectively in diverse cultural situations with our global team members. u2022 Must be capable of initiating and providing recommendations for Business Unit and Division senior leadership review and approval that will achieve desired outcomes.
