CNC Setup Machinist

CNC Machinist u2013 1st Shift (Production Setup & Operation) Location: Minneapolis, MN We are growing and looking to add a skilled CNC Machinist to our 1st shift team. This role is ideal for someone experienced in production setups, tightu2011tolerance machining, and working within industries such as automotive, military, and medical. What Youu2019ll Do + Perform complete setups, tool offsets, program edits, and troubleshooting on CNC mills. + Operate Mori Seiki, Kitamura, and Fanuc Robodrill machines using Fanuc controls. + Use precision inspection tools including micrometers, calipers, gauges, and CMM equipment. + Make program edits using GibbsCAM and Mastercam. + Read, interpret, and machine parts from detailed blueprints. What You Bring + Proven experience setting up and operating CNC mills and turning centers. + Strong proficiency with G & M Codes. + Ability to edit toolpaths in GibbsCAM or Mastercam. Additional Qualifications + Solid understanding of GD&T. + Strong shop math skills. + Experience working with tight tolerances and varied materials. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MINNEAPOLIS, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr.
