FTE: 1.000000Standard Hours: 40.00 Shift: Shift 2 Shift Details: 7-3 or 10-7Holidays: rotating Weekends: every other Job Summary: Performs allduties related to the production of hot and cold food items for hospitalpatients, staff and visitors, special functions, and baking. Monitor thequality of items produced, closely working with hot and cold foodproduction to deliver the highest standards of product to our customersdaily. Follows standardized recipes and production sheets, and assuresthat food is produced in accordance to established sanitation and foodsafety standards. Maintains quality standards in cooking methods,procedures and therapeutic restrictions for all diets, presentation andportion control. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: A minimum of 1 year of foodservice cooking experience or any combination of years in food serviceexperience with a Culinary Degree. Line cook experience with hot foodpreparation is preferred. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Culinary Arts degreepreferred. SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: Ability to read and writenecessary to comprehend and follow equipment operating instructions,IFUs and complete required documentation. Basic arithmetic calculationsnecessary to count instruments and complete count sheets are required.Basic computer, problem-solving and good communication skills arerequired.
