FTE: 0.900000 Standard Hours: 36.00 Shift: Shift 1 Shift Details:0700-1930 Holidays: Rotation Weekends: Every other weekend - Schedule -Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday - then off a weekJob Summary: Performs primary nursing functions of assessing, planning,directing, and evaluating patient care in the Inpatient Unit to patientsof all ages suffering from various types of illness or trauma. The RNserves as a professional role model by collaborating with clinical andfront office staff, administration and other professional disciplines toensure effective patient care is delivered to optimal patient outcomes.Other Duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: A minimum of 1 year ofexperience in a hospital inpatient/telemetry unit or equivalentexperience is required. Experience Preferred: 2 years of experience in ahospital inpatient/telemetry unit or equivalent experience is preferred.EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Professional knowledge of nursing theory andpractice at a level normally acquired through completion of a minimum oftwo years education at an accredited School of Nursing in order to beeligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse is required. LICENSUREDESCRIPTION: Requires current state of Wisconsin Registered NurseLicense or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state inthe NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact) American Heart Association (AHA) BasicLife Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approvedequivalent is required within 30 days of hire. American HeartAssociation (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is requiredwithin one year of hire.
