Payroll Specialist

Description We are looking for a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team in Oradell, New Jersey. This is a Contract to permanent position within the goods industry, offering an opportunity to contribute to payroll operations for a large and dynamic workforce. The role involves ensuring accurate and efficient payroll processing while adhering to compliance standards and maintaining high attention to detail. Responsibilities: u2022 Process payroll for employees across the United States and Canada, ensuring timely and accurate payments. u2022 Oversee pre-tax and post-tax deductions, including retirement contributions such as 401(k). u2022 Utilize ADP Workforce Now for payroll operations and Workday for HR data integration. u2022 Generate and export payroll and financial reports to support accounting and finance teams. u2022 Maintain compliance with payroll regulations and ensure all processes meet company standards. u2022 Use Excel to reconcile payroll data, create reports, and perform detailed analysis. u2022 Manage biweekly payroll cycles for a workforce of approximately 1,000 employees. u2022 Collaborate with internal teams to address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies. u2022 Ensure accuracy and efficiency in payroll operations during both regular and high-volume periods. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in payroll processing, including multi-state or multi-country payroll. u2022 Familiarity with payroll deductions and benefits administration processes. u2022 Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now for payroll management; experience with Workday is a plus. u2022 Intermediate-level skills in Excel for data reconciliation and reporting. u2022 Ability to handle payroll for large employee populations, ideally over 500 employees. u2022 Strong attention to detail and commitment to meeting strict deadlines. u2022 Knowledge of payroll compliance regulations and best practices. u2022 Excellent organizational and communication skills to effectively manage payroll operations.
