Unlock your potential here Position Details: + The RN OR Float provides patient care utilizing the nursing process u2013 assessment, care planning, implementation, and reassessment u2013 for identified patient population per the Colorado Nurse Practice Act. + The RN OR Float documents patient care administered. + The RN OR Float promotes interdisciplinary communication and care. + The delivery of care is based on the age, physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety and learning needs of the individual patient. The RN OR Float demonstrates basic and unit specific competencies. + The RN OR Float supervises contract and employee MST, CST, ST. + The RN OR Float performs delegated duties consistent with the scope of practice and functions within the philosophy and overall plan of care at Sky Ridge Medical Center (SRMC). + The RN OR Float supports and follows SRMC policy and procedures. + The RN OR Float displays positive support for the values and mission of SRMC. + The RN OR Float may function in the role of preceptor with completion of a SRMC Preceptor Course. + The RN OR Float required to float to in the surgical services area (PreOp, Endo, PACU, and OR). + Position requires call. What qualifications you will need: + Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multi-state Registered Nurse license. + Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. + Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred. + One (1) year minimum experience in the perioperative (OR) setting is required. + ACLS and PALS certification within 6 months of hire. + CNOR preferred.
