Hiring Set Up Technicians in Aurora, CO The Process/Set-up Technician supports daily production by setting up, adjusting, and optimizing injection molding processes to ensure consistent, highu2011quality output. This role reports directly to the Production Supervisor and plays a key part in maintaining high standards for precision, efficiency, and zerou2011defect manufacturing. Pay: $25.00 - $32.00hr (based on experience) + Shift: Shifts are scheduled as follows: + A and C shifts run Sunday to Tuesday and every other Wednesday from 5:50 am to 6:00 pm, with night shifts from 5:50 pm to 6:00 am. + B and D shifts occur every other Wednesday and from Thursday to Saturday, maintaining the same hours. Night shift roles offer a $1/hr differential Job Description: + Set up, start up, and shut down injection molding machines according to established procedures. + Perform mold changes, tooling adjustments, and machine setups to meet production schedules. + Troubleshoot molding issues such as short shots, flash, burns, and dimensional inconsistencies. + Monitor process parameters and make realu2011time adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency. + Conduct routine inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measurement tools. + Collaborate with Quality and Production teams to resolve defects and improve process capability. + Document process changes, machine settings, and production notes accurately. + Support continuous improvement initiatives, including scrap reduction and cycle time optimization. + Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in alignment with company standards. Skills & Qualifications: + Experience with plastics injection molding processes and equipment is a plus. + Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose machine or process issues. + Proficiency with measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers. + Ability to read and interpret work instructions, production schedules, and quality documentation. + Solid understanding of safety protocols and manufacturing best practices. + Effective communication and teamwork skills in a fastu2011paced production environment.
