Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a manufacturing company in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This part-time position, offering 24-28 hours per week, provides the flexibility of a Monday through Friday schedule. Responsibilities: u2022 Process and manage accounts receivable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate posting. u2022 Handle cash applications and allocate payments efficiently to customer accounts. u2022 Perform commercial collections to resolve outstanding balances and maintain positive client relationships. u2022 Oversee billing functions, including invoice preparation and distribution. u2022 Monitor and reconcile daily cash activity to ensure proper accounting records. u2022 Conduct bank reconciliations to verify and balance financial statements. u2022 Utilize Microsoft Excel to create and maintain spreadsheets for tracking financial data. u2022 Collaborate with other departments to address discrepancies and improve financial workflows. u2022 Maintain accurate records and reports for audits and compliance purposes.
