This role is essential in preparing highu2011quality meals for patients, retail operations, and catering services , while following strict dietary and safety standards. What Youu2019ll Do + Prep and prepare food items: cutting, slicing, dicing, chopping, pureeing, marinating, etc. + Wash, peel, and process vegetables/fruits; weigh and measure ingredients. + Follow standardized recipes and use multiple cooking techniques (sautu00e9ing, broiling, braising, baking, grilling, deep frying, steaming). + Operate institutional cooking equipment while maintaining food quality and temperature standards. + Properly chill, label, date, and store food per food safety and rotation procedures . + Complete assigned food safety quality control logs . + Follow dietary needs including allergens, modified textures, and nutritional restrictions. + Clean and sanitize all equipment, appliances, and work areas. u2b50 Essential Skills + Experience in food service, food prep, and cleaning + Knowledge of food safety standards + Skilled in cooking, tray line, or line cook operations ?
