Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician Job Description As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will travel to various fast food restaurants and gas stations to perform facilities and plumbing repairs. Your role will involve identifying and fixing leaks, clogs, and broken pipes, and ensuring high-quality customer service and communication. You will also document work using a mobile app, so comfort with smartphones is essential. Responsibilities + Travel to fast food restaurants and gas stations for facilities and plumbing repairs. + Identify and fix leaks, clogs, and broken pipes. + Provide excellent customer service and communication. + Document work in a mobile app. + Install FRP wall panels, grease traps, and floor sinks/drains. + Perform water heater replacements and backflow installations. + Locate pipes, clogs, and breaks. + Conduct wall repairs such as patching drywall and matching texture. + Perform light painting and basic electrical work. + Troubleshoot electrical issues and mystery leaks. + Determine work requirements and sequence of repairs and installations. + Perform preventative maintenance work. + Communicate effectively with dispatch and office. Essential Skills + 1+ years of plumbing experience. + Basic ceramic tile experience. + Basic plumbing skills (e.g., replacing faucets, unclogging toilets). + Basic electrical skills (e.g., replacing light bulbs, outlets). + Basic wall repair skills (e.g., cutting out and patching drywall). + Experience with FRP wall installations. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Willingness to learn and be a team player. + Good attitude and service orientation. + Experience in mechanical and facility maintenance. + Knowledge of restaurant design and commercial construction. + Ability to snake, jet, use a camera or scope, and work with p traps and faucets. Work Environment Work shifts are from 8am to 5pm and 8pm to 5am. Technicians will be provided with work uniforms, a cell phone, a gas card, and access to a company Home Depot account for supplies. A company vehicle is provided for all jobs, which can be taken home. Technicians will be on call for one week at a time, responsible for emergency calls during nights, weekends, and holidays. On-call rotations occur every 3-4 weeks, with schedules provided six weeks in advance. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $31.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
