The hours for this role are 3pm-12:30am The hourly rate for this position is $25.00 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. What youu2019ll do: Eaton Aerospace and Mission Systems Division is seeking a Clean Room Operator for our Westminster, MD Facility. Their work directly supports the building and creation of hardware that enables: u2022 Safety of our Warfighters u2022 Firefighters and First responders to save lives u2022 Aircraft to land u2022 Rockets to launch u2022 Satellites to Orbit the earth u2022 Astronauts to perform research At Eaton Westminster, we are a leader in design, manufacturing, and testing of high precision aerospace components including filament wound pressure vessels and structures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Composite Machine and Clean Room Operator include the following: u2022 Preparing/ completing set up of the clean room. u2022 Mixing and preparing cleaning operations u2022 Meeting daily output requirements u2022 Preforming proper checks and procedures to ensure quality product. u2022 Using a microscope and other measuring devices to complete the particle count process required for cleaning the product. All Production Workers at Eaton Westminster are also responsible for: u2022 Ensuring that Environmental, Health, and Safety are included as part of everyday activities. u2022 Complying with all work and process instructions. u2022 Participating in 5S cell efforts and continuous improvement. u2022 Identifying improvement opportunities. u2022 Lifting up to and including 50 pounds. u2022 Utilizing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for each task associated with the job. u2022 Working safely and reporting all near misses, illnesses, and injuries following established procedures. u2022 Completing and maintaining their training to meet the required level of certified elements in their position. u2022 Properly managing the traceability of components to ensure accuracy. Qualifications: Required: u2022 Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience OR 1 year of military experience u2022 US Citizen or Permanent Resident Preferred: u2022 HS Diploma or Associates Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Technology u2022 Assembly or Test experience in a manufacturing environment preferred u2022 Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, Cellular Manufacturing, One Piece Flow, and Continuous Improvement concepts u2022 Experience with various types of industrial machinery equipment and tools such as latheu2019s, curing ovens, thermal and/or life cycling machines, sanding and industrial painting tools, as well as standard hand tools are a plus. #IND123 #IND456 #LI-KM1 #LI-RR2 We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
