Eatonu2019s FFD Fluid Filtration Division division is currently seeking a Machine Operator - 2nd Shift. The hourly rate for this position is $19.00 per hour. The hours for second shift are as follows; 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What youu2019ll do: Eatonu2019s Industrial Plastics Division (IPD) is currently seeking a Machine Operator to join our Williamsport, MD team on 2nd shift. IPD provides custom complex profile plastic extrusions for a wide variety of customers and industries. Eaton's value-added fabricationu2014such as length cutting, hole punching, texture, and tape backing for mounting applicationsu2014provides customers with the capabilities to complete any production. The hourly rate for this position starts at $19 per hour. 2nd shift hours are from 3PM u2013 11PM. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What youu2019ll do: u2022 Start up and operate plastic extrusion manufacturing equipment u2022 Manufacture products ranging from custom plastic extrusions to ZipMate zippers u2022 Set up jobs utilizing the proper installation of dies, adapters, breaker plates, and screen packs u2022 Inspect final products to ensure compliance with Eatonu2019s quality standards u2022 Ensure continuous and efficient production by preparing the extruder and downstream equipment for the next job in line u2022 Clean screw installation and maintain an organized workspace surrounding the equipment All manufacturing employees at Williamsport are also responsible for: u2022 Complying with all Environment, Health, & Safety (EHS) standards u2022 Complying with all work and process instructions u2022 Identifying improvement opportunities u2022 Utilizing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for each task associated with the job u2022 Working safely and reporting all near misses, illnesses, and injuries following established procedures. u2022 Completing any initial or recurring training issued by the site or Eaton Qualifications: Required Qualifications: u2022 High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution u2022 Able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future u2022 Able to lift up to 40 lbs u2022 Reside within a 50-mile radius of Williamsport, MD + No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. + Candidates who are active duty military members are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
