Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Auditor with a background in public accounting to join our team in West Des Moines, Iowa. Responsibilities: u2022 Conduct thorough audits to ensure compliance with established financial and regulatory standards. u2022 Evaluate financial statements and records for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to reporting guidelines. u2022 Develop and execute audit plans tailored to specific client needs and organizational objectives. u2022 Lead audit engagements, providing guidance and support to less experienced team members. u2022 Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management or clients. u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve discrepancies or issues. u2022 Utilize advanced Excel skills and industry-specific software to streamline audit processes. u2022 Stay updated on changes in financial reporting standards and industry best practices. u2022 Ensure all audit activities are completed within designated timelines and budgets. Requirements u2022 A minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, preferably within a public accounting environment. u2022 Advanced proficiency in auditing processes, including planning, execution, and reporting. u2022 Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance requirements. u2022 Proven expertise in using Excel and industry-specific software for auditing tasks. u2022 A CPA designation or equivalent certification is strongly preferred. u2022 Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail. u2022 Ability to lead engagements and mentor less experienced team members. u2022 Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactions.
