Plant Controller

Description Our client, a well-established manufacturing organization, is seeking a Plant Controller to oversee plant-level financial operations and serve as a strategic partner to plant leadership. This role is ideal for a hands-on finance professional with strong manufacturing accounting experience who enjoys being embedded in operations and driving financial performance. What Youu2019ll Do + Own all plant-level accounting and financial reporting activities + Lead monthly close, financial statements, and variance analysis + Manage standard costing, inventory accounting, and cost of goods sold + Develop and monitor plant budgets, forecasts, and operating plans + Partner closely with Plant Manager and operations leaders to improve margins and efficiency + Analyze manufacturing costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction + Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies + Support capital expenditure analysis and ROI modeling + Coordinate with corporate finance and external auditors + Mentor or oversee plant accounting staff as applicable Requirements What Weu2019re Looking For + Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field + 5+ years of accounting or finance experience within a manufacturing environment + Strong background in cost accounting, standard costing, and variance analysis + Experience working with ERP systems in a plant setting + Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities + Ability to communicate effectively with both finance and operations teams + CPA, CMA, or MBA is a plus Robert Half is the worldu2019s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
