Description We are looking for an experienced Controller to join a growing construction company in Las Vegas, Nevada. As a key member of the senior leadership team, this role oversees all day-to-day accounting and financial operations, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, while supporting management and leadership with detailed and timely financial analyses and reports. The Controller will play a vital role in shaping financial strategies, managing accounting processes, and driving organizational success. Responsibilities: u2022 Prepare and deliver monthly financial statements and management reports to support decision-making. u2022 Collaborate with operations teams to assess revenue and cost adjustments for ongoing projects. u2022 Analyze job profitability through the preparation of cost statements and discussions with supervisors. u2022 Ensure the accurate processing of invoices, lien releases, and client-related documentation. u2022 Oversee accounts payable, billing, and payroll data entry to maintain financial integrity. u2022 Act as a liaison between branch operations and corporate accounting staff. u2022 Manage cash flow, profit and loss statements, and work toward positive financial outcomes. u2022 Review branch budgets and assist in developing the companyu2019s annual business plan. u2022 Maintain reconciliations of balance sheets in compliance with external audit requirements. u2022 Supervise & Lead local accounting staff and ensure appropriate training and development initiatives are in place. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting or a related field. u2022 Minimum of 5-7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including financial reporting and analysis. u2022 Strong leadership and management experience in financial operations; A proven business partner across the organization. u2022 Proficiency in construction accounting and job cost analysis. u2022 Experience using construction industry accounting software. u2022 Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. u2022 Demonstrated ability to collaborate across departments and with senior-level stakeholders. u2022 Excellent organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
