( Minimum Qualifications: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for healthcare providers Valid driveru2019s license with reliable, insured transportation and a clean driving record Strong verbal and written communication skills RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain a BSN within 4 years of their start date at Intermountain Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Two years working as an RN Previous experience in an Acute Care, Home Health, or Hospice setting Essential Job Duties: + Visual and Cognitive Skills: Ability to read and interpret information, labels, and patient needs while operating monitors and identifying equipment and supplies. + Communication and Responsiveness: Frequent interactions with patients, visitors, and healthcare providers require effective verbal communication and the ability to hear and respond to alarms, urgent needs, and issues quickly, especially in emergencies. + Manual Dexterity: Skilled hand and finger movements are necessary to manipulate delicate equipment accurately, including frequent computer use for documentation, accessing patient records, medication preparation, and vehicle operation. + Physical Strength and Mobility: Must be able to lift, bend, carry supplies, and assist in patient transfers, often handling items of varying weights, including heavy objects. + Patient Support and Transport: Expected to walk, assist with patient mobility, and move medical equipment.
