Database Administrator

Description We are looking for a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing HR data processes, ensuring seamless data extraction, transformation, and integration across multiple platforms. As this is a long-term contract position, you will have the opportunity to contribute to both project-based initiatives and ongoing operational tasks. Responsibilities: u2022 Lead the extraction, cleansing, and validation of HR data from multiple systems to ensure accuracy and completeness. u2022 Oversee the preparation and transformation of data for successful integration into new platforms. u2022 Develop and maintain frameworks for data migration, ensuring repeatable and efficient processes. u2022 Act as the primary expert for system data integrity and stability across various platforms. u2022 Monitor and optimize database performance, identifying and resolving issues proactively. u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow and system compatibility. u2022 Conduct regular audits to maintain data quality and reliability. u2022 Provide technical support for HR technology systems, troubleshooting and resolving issues as needed. u2022 Design and implement strategies for database performance tuning and optimization. u2022 Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies to enhance system capabilities Requirements u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL Database. u2022 Hands-on experience with MySQL and Microsoft SQL. u2022 Strong expertise in database performance tuning and optimization. u2022 Demonstrated ability to manage complex data migration projects. u2022 Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail in data validation and cleansing. u2022 Experience working with HR technology systems like Taleo and Phenom. u2022 Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. u2022 Solid understanding of database security and integrity protocols.
