Youu2019ll work with the best Engineers and Project Managers in the business, as well as gain experience working directly with our clients. We want you to be empowered to deliver the boldest solutions for your clients and we will provide resources to help you pursue opportunities that excite you.You will participate in the development of our business strategy. You will proactively identify and solve complex problems; take a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions; and guide others in solving complex issues in specialized areas. Weu2019ll rely on your leadership as you mentor and direct junior staff.Youu2019ll grow professionally with us as we rise together on impactful projects with a high degree of technical complexity from the concept stage through detailed design and construction services. Youu2019ll be leading multidiscipline planning and design teams to complete tasks within established schedules and budgets and help advance our business development strategies. Your relationships with our clients and communities in the Southwest will support our growth with key and strategic pursuits of traditional planning and design projects as well as alternative delivery opportunities.Additionally youu2019ll;u2022 Lead successful delivery of quality projects from conceptual design through preliminary, intermediate, and final design phases to constructionu2022 Develop specifications, cost estimates, and prepare final bid packagesu2022 Manage on-call contracts and sub-consultantsu2022 Prepare scope, schedule, and budgets for projects and task ordersu2022 Prepare or oversee the design for roadway, highway, and/or traffic engineering projectsu2022 Identify creative and innovative solutions based on client, project, and site constraintsu2022 Provide technical guidance, oversight, and perform quality reviewsu2022 Train, direct, and mentor junior engineersu2022 Coordinate project milestones and workload with other project managers and group leads throughout the Southwestu2022 Assist and coordinate with client account management leads on project pursuits to win worku2022 Assist in business development and proposal effortsu2022 Maintain and/or develop relationships with new and existing clients to determine their needs and manage expectationsu2022 Execute projects using the Jacobs project delivery processesu2022 Work with a manager of projects to grow your PM skillsets and business acumenBased in our Denver office, our hybrid work environment provides the flexibility to work as an integral member of our Southwest team.This position will be posted for at least 3 days. u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Civil Engineeringu2022 Professional Engineer License (PE)u2022 At least 10-15 years related experience in transportation work with an emphasis on roadway and/or transit designu2022 At least 2-5 years of transportation project management experienceu2022 Previous Department of Transportation (DOT), County or Municipal experienceu2022 Ability to demonstrate project leadership experienceu2022 Strong OpenRoads Designer, InRoads, MicroStation backgroundu2022 Strong mathematical, analytical, time management skillsu2022 Understanding of project risks that can affect quality project deliveryIdeally, youu2019ll also have:u2022 Experience leading discipline and project teams on multi-discipline infrastructure engineering design and construction projectsu2022 Experience on alternative delivery projects (Design-build, CM/GC)u2022 Client connections in the Colorado areau2022 Familiarity with Colorado Department of Transportation (UDOT) plans and specifications preparation a plusu2022 Familiarity with Autocad/Civil3Du2022 Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 products including MS Project and SharePointu2022 Professional licensure in neighboring statesJacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
