Third Party Risk Analyst

Description We are looking for a skilled Third Party Risk Analyst to join our client in Columbus, Ohio. In this long-term contract role, you will play a critical part in evaluating and managing risk associated with prospective vendors. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in risk assessment processes and demonstrate a strong ability to analyze inherent and residual risks within vendor relationships. This position has the ability to be fully remote, but ideal candidates will be on EST. If candidate lives in Columbus, OH they will be expected to follow a hybrid schedule. Responsibilities: u2022 Conduct thorough risk assessments for prospective vendors to ensure compliance with organizational standards. u2022 Assign risk ratings based on evaluation findings and determine if additional assessments are required. u2022 Collaborate with teams to identify and address gaps in vendor risk management processes. u2022 Perform inherent risk and control assessments to evaluate vendor risk profiles. u2022 Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze data and generate detailed reports. u2022 Support enterprise risk management initiatives by ensuring vendor risks align with company policies. u2022 Work with tools such as Archer, Ariba, or Coupa, if applicable, to streamline the risk assessment process. u2022 Provide clear and actionable recommendations based on risk analysis findings. u2022 Communicate effectively with stakeholders to facilitate vendor onboarding and risk mitigation. u2022 Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all risk assessment activities. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Third Party Risk Analyst or similar role. u2022 Proven expertise in conducting risk assessments and assigning risk ratings. u2022 Strong proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting. u2022 Knowledge of inherent and residual risk concepts and control assessments. u2022 Familiarity with risk management tools such as Archer, Ariba, or Coupa is a plus. u2022 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. u2022 Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders. u2022 Commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
