Every role has an impact on our patientsu2019 lives and you have the opportunity to make a difference. We are looking for a dedicated Senior Financial Analyst like you to be a part of our team. Job Summary and Qualifications As the Senior Financial Analyst you will be responsible for tracking and reporting phased project costs, maintaining and reporting project dates and other key project data, and collection of data related to various Design & Construction initiatives. You will coordinate closely with all Design and Construction personnel as well as Corporate Accounting and CAMS personnel to ensure projects are broken into the appropriate components and phases, thus ensuring costs are tracked, managed and reported accurately and in compliance with Company accounting policies. You must have a keen understanding of GAAP and internal control processes and procedures. A major portion of this role also includes serving as system administrator for e-Builder, our project management system. You will lead change for business process improvement and innovative process reengineering. You must be self-motivated with the ability to self-direct, track, measure and document within a professional multi-tasking, multi-priority environment. You must manage complex projects under limited oversight. Your responsibilities will include: Job Functions - % Time Allocation: + 30% - Reporting + 30% - System Administrator + 20% - Process Improvement + 20% - Oversee, Mentor and Train Reporting: + Work with Construction Directors, Equipment Managers, IT&S and Corporate Accounting personnel to delineate, track and report project costs by phase and component. This will include serving as the primary liaison between Design & Construction and Corporate Accounting to ensure Corporate Accounting is provided with project cost data that is accurate and timely. + Work with Corporate Accounting and CAMS to ensure project dates are reported accurately so costs can be reported to facilities on a timely basis (to ensure compliance with SOX key controls). + Contribute to business decisions by providing insightful analysis and methodical consideration for the end-to-end impact to systems + Coordinate with other Design & Construction personnel and Internal Audit personnel to provide documents and data needed for Contractor and Architect audits, SOX reviews, etc. + Develop cost management tools and reporting metrics to assist Design, Construction, and Equipment Managers to better manage project schedules and costs. + Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports to leadership on data related to various D&C initiatives, such as contractor and architect diversity statistics, project recycling, etc. + Perform various special projects and ad-hoc analyses as needed on financial analysis of projects, processes, system information, etc. System Administration: + Serve as e-Builder system administrator and ensure proper system access controls are maintained at all times. This will include building and maintaining structured workflow processes within the system, building reports and dashboards, building system templates, and working to troubleshoot and correct system issues as they arise. + Serve as e-Builder subject matter expert to provide guidance on departmental initiatives, process improvements and reporting. + Develop, manage, and own user requirements through transformation to end user e-Builder process + Monitor transmission of data between e-Builder and Infor FSM (HCAu2019s accounting system) to ensure data is being transmitted in accordance with established protocols. + Review the internal controls and security of all automated applications to ensure conformity with auditing standards. Process Improvement: + Create reporting and workflow processes based on translating various business requirements from D&C personnel, CAMS and partner advocates. + Review complex system processes, procedures, and features for efficient workflow and conformity with business practices. + Develop, maintain, and provide guidance on automation, technical solutions within the department. + Collaborate with other departments to integrate the construction software system with other software applications and systems. + Gather and compile information on processes, organizational structure, computer technology, policies, and procedures. Oversee, Mentor and Train: + Manage and maintain the construction software system, including system upgrades, troubleshooting, and user support. + Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the construction software system. + Develop and maintain training materials for construction software system users. Lead training for e-Builder rollout changes. + Provide guidance and support to accounting staff as needed. Other Functions: + Gather business requirements and reporting needs by working directly with subject matter experts within Design & Construction, FacilitiGroup and HealthTrust. + Represent D&C as a corporate liaison with both internal and external stakeholders. + Create & maintain process maps and documentation for process improvement. + Ability to learn new tools and techniques in a fast paced environment + Participate in Corporate user groups for automation and advanced analytics. What qualifications you will need: + Bachelors Degree + 5+ years of relevant work experience required + Out-of-the box thinker who can learn, implement and execute repeatable and effective processes while developing solutions in the most time-efficient manner with the highest level of quality. + MBA or CPA preferred + Adeptness to learn new assignments, technologies and applications quickly and manage multiple assignments simultaneously. + Demonstrate an understanding of complex ideas, a forward-looking perspective, and ability to contribute to tactical decision-making processes. + Proactive attentive listening and display empathy towards otheru2019s ideas and perspectives. + Workplace culture focuses on teamwork and u2018caring like familyu2019, so social and interpersonal skills are equally as important as technical capability. + Expert knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Access, etc.). + Prior construction accounting, financial analysis, or audit experience preferred + Demonstrated knowledge of internal control policies and procedures in a large corporate environment. + Ability to work effectively under pressure and within deadlines. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Prior design and construction industry knowledge is a plus.
