Database Developer

Description We are looking for a skilled Database Developer to join our team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is a Contract to permanent position that offers the opportunity to work on complex data systems and optimize database performance for impactful applications. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in database management and cloud platforms, contributing to innovative solutions in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities: u2022 Design, optimize, and maintain database systems, ensuring high performance and reliability. u2022 Manage and enhance Microsoft SQL Server environments, including indexing, replication, and clustering. u2022 Develop and implement solutions on Snowflake or other cloud-based data platforms. u2022 Create and maintain ETL processes to transform and load data efficiently. u2022 Collaborate with stakeholders to prepare datasets for machine learning and AI applications. u2022 Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards while handling sensitive information. u2022 Generate detailed reports and extract data to support organizational needs. u2022 Provide documentation and technical support for database-related workflows. u2022 Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and improve database operations. Requirements u2022 At least 8 years of experience in database administration or engineering roles. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including administration and optimization. u2022 Hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms. u2022 Familiarity with healthcare or university data environments. u2022 Expertise in data preparation, cleansing, and transformation for AI and machine learning. u2022 Strong knowledge of data privacy and security practices. u2022 Ability to develop reports and extract data using SQL-based tools. u2022 Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem-solving abilities.
