Aircraft Fueler - FT - Charlotte International Airport

Description + Shifts Available: AM/PM (Must be open to working either shift and any days of the week including weekends, holidays, and OT) + Pay: $17.93 Increased to $18.23 after 90 days Main accountabilities include: Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.u2022 Perform fueling in a safe and efficient manner.u2022 Drive and operate fuel trucks, hydrant cards, and stationary carts to fuel aircraft.u2022 Responsible for accurate accounting of fuel transactionsu2022 Perform daily Quality Control checks on equipment.u2022 Maintain equipment in clean and functional condition.u2022 Ensure the correct loading and balancing of fuel.u2022 Responsible for defueling aircraft as directed.u2022 Ensure safe and secure operations, in accordance with the highest possible standards of health, safety, security, and all government statutory requirements.u2022 Comply with attendance standards.u2022 Perform other duties as assigned.Safety, Security and ComplianceAll employees have a responsibility and duty whilst at work to:u2022 Take reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves and of others who may be affected by their actions or omissions whilst at work.u2022 Fully versed on International Aviation Safety and Security standards and passionate about promoting them within the organization.u2022 Co-operate with their manager / supervisor to allow them to perform or comply with any legal requirements imposed on the company.u2022 Not intentionally or recklessly interfere with or misuse anything provided by the company in the interests of health, safety, or welfare reasons.u2022 Inform their manager / supervisor of any work situation, equipment or activity that represents a serious or immediate danger to health and safety.u2022 Report any hazards, near misses, incidents, accidents, or dangerous occurrences to their manager / supervisor, who will then follow the procedures contained in this manual.u2022 Carry out work in accordance with information and training provided and any specific workplace health and safety rules or procedures.u2022 Fully understand the company health and safety policy.u2022 Attend training courses as may be arranged by the Company.Qualifications and Experienceu2022 Must be at least 18 years of age.u2022 Must possess a valid US driveru2019s license. u2022 pass pre-employment color vision test.u2022 Must pass pre-employment drug screen.u2022 Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English.u2022 Handle fueling carts and fueling hoses which will require you to lift and move up to 70lbs.u2022 Ability to perform basic math calculations.u2022 Work is done primarily outdoors; must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.u2022 Must pass background check and obtain US Customs seal.u2022 Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.u2022 Prior experience preferred including possession of a Commercial Driveru2019s License or experience in the Oil and Gas Industry (preferred)Knowledge, Skills, and Abilitiesu2022 Ability to learn quickly.u2022 Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed.u2022 Strong interpersonal skillsu2022 Ability to work as part of a team.u2022 Ability to build relationships.
