This is a 16 hour/week position, hours are Saturday, 7am-3:30pm and Sunday, 7am-3:30pm Job Description: 75% Conduct watering and irrigation support Ensure proper watering for pots and containers, new plantings in garden areas, and conservatory and greenhouses. 25% Perform maintenance horticultural maintenance Weeding, planting, removing brush, watering, pruning, spreading mulch and fertilizer utilizing various types of garden and landscaping equipment such as pruners, shears, trees saws, shovels, pitchforks, ladders, and cherry pickers. Pick up trash and debris; cleaning buildings, moving furniture, etc. Loading and unloading trucks. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Must be at least 16 years of age. Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather, climb 8-foot ladders, and be able to lift 50 pounds for extended periods of time. Pay and Benefits Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.00; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
